In June 2021, TRA-COL was entrusted with a mission-critical upgrade at Table View East Pump Station—a project involving the replacement of 14 large-bore municipal gate valves (450mm and greater), all while maintaining uninterrupted sewage flow downstream. This wasn’t just construction—it was a feat of engineering finesse.

The TRA-COL team engineered a procedure to activate a temperamental 350NB Godwin diesel over-pumping system with inline straining, ensuring continuous operation throughout the transition. With precision manufacturing and on-site welding, new 450NB flanged stainless steel pipe sections were custom-built to fit seamlessly into the existing layout.

From the rigging and removal of aged cast iron valves to the flawless installation of robust new units, every stage was delivered with sharp accuracy and safety at the forefront.
